As a first step, based on what the guest shares, I determine the problem with the broadest possible understanding. This includes assessing lifestyle, physical and emotional well-being, as well as any known illnesses and medications taken.
This is followed by a micro-camera hair examination, which gives me a precise picture of the condition of the scalp, hair strands and hair follicles. The micro-camera can show the scalp and hair strands, including the hair follicles, at 200x and 400x magnification, helping me detect any visible changes.
Using another camera head, I also examine whether there is any overgrowth of bacteria or fungi on the scalp, as this can also negatively affect the condition of the scalp. I also assess the level of oiliness of the scalp.
After this, I can form a comprehensive picture of the cause of the problem and the possible treatment options. I always discuss this with the guest and explain all the important information regarding the treatment.
In many cases, lifestyle changes may also be necessary, especially regarding eating habits, as the saying goes: you are what you eat. A lack of certain nutrients, or excessive consumption of others, can negatively affect the proper function and balance of the scalp.
