Keratin Hair Treatment

Keratin hair treatment is a long-lasting structural repair treatment for stressed, damaged hair that has been affected by physical or chemical processes.

Keratin hair treatment is recommended for guests who find daily hair care difficult, whose hair tangles, breaks or stretches, is hard to comb through or blow-dry, and whose ends are dry and lifeless.

Damaged hair becomes uneven, incomplete and porous in structure. Almost 100% of the hair strand is made up of a substance called keratin. During the keratin treatment, these damaged areas are filled with keratin. The heat-activated formula bonds closely to the damaged parts, making the hair strand smooth, even and healthy again.

It is long-lasting, which means that with proper at-home hair care, it remains in the hair for three to four months. Its durability depends on the initial condition of the hair: it lasts longer on less damaged hair, while on severely damaged hair it may start to wear off sooner. It also greatly depends on the quality of at-home hair care, including the use of the right shampoo, extra care during the first few days after the treatment, and avoiding intense heat exposure.

The treatment can be repeated three to four times a year. The ideal frequency depends on the initial condition of the hair.

L’Oréal Steam Pod Treatment

The Steam Pod hair treatment is recommended for those whose hair is difficult to comb through, structurally damaged, dry or prone to tangling.

The Steam Pod hair treatment uses steam to deliver the structural repair active ingredients into the deepest layers of the hair strand, helping the hair regenerate. The treatment is the final step after blow-drying, so it remains in the hair and provides longer-lasting care than a regular hair mask.

Its beneficial effects can still be felt after the next 2–4 hair washes, as it reaches the deeper layers of the hair strand and continues to work for a longer period of time.

Depending on the condition of the hair, the treatment can be applied as an intensive course if the hair structure requires stronger care, or occasionally on a weekly or monthly basis if the goal is maintenance.
